This was taken shortly before she was married. See that bangle on her right wrist? It was gold and I always loved it - it was a part of Mum. I loved the sound it made when it tinkled on the table when Mum was writing. Something happened to it though as I remember when I was about 10 or so she couldn't get it off and it had to be cut off.
